In March 2026, I captured Rajvi and Mert's Haldi pre-wedding ceremony here in the Houston area. It was a beautiful start to their Indian wedding celebration, with family and friends gathered to celebrate, laugh, and spend time together.

Haldi ceremony
Their Haldi featured the traditional application of turmeric paste. This is a special part of the Haldi celebration.
Everyone lined up to apply the bright yellow paste on Rajvi and Mert's hands, arms, and feet. The smile on their faces showed their joy.
It was a moment filled with love and laughter, and I aimed to capture every detail.
fUN AND GAMES
Another fun part was the games. Guests split into teams - Team Rajvi and Team Mert - and jumped into a series of fun, interactive challenges, such as balancing cups while walking and racing to find items like keys, water bottles, and lipstick.
It didn’t take long for the competition to turn into laughter, with everyone fully
engaged and enjoying the moment.
Candid moments
As a photographer, candid moments are always a big focus for me.
Besides the bride and groom, I’m always paying attention to the overall atmosphere — guests chatting, hugging, laughing, and enjoying time together.
